6.5mm crochet hook
Yarn Needle
Worsted Weight Yarn
Colors: Red for the body, white for the body and cap spots
Optional: i-Cord tool (I have previously made a make shift i-cord tool by taping 2 of the same size crochet hooks to a paper towel roll stuffed with more cardboard to make it sturdy). I have also used a lucet fork.

ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
hdc – half double crochet
inc – increase (2 new stitches in one)
dec – decrease (crochet two stitches together)
BO – bind off
Picot stich – ch3, sl st into first ch

Bag Strap
Step 1: Use the i-cord tool with your white (body) yarn to create a strap of your desired length.
Step 2: Attach the strap to one side of the body,
Step 3: Pull the strap through the inside of the cap (this is where the body would naturally touch the cap if the cap is set on the body).
Step 4: Pull the strap down through the opposite side of the cap and attach it to the corresponding side of the body
Now you can pull the cap of the mushroom up and down with ease!
